Small Wins and the Chaos Around Them

Welcome back! To whoever’s here and the 8 amazing people who chose to follow along, I appreciate you.
It’s been a week. I knew it’d be quiet at first, I prepared myself for that, but I’ll admit, it still stings a little to see the views come in without much interaction.
That said, I get it. Not everyone’s going to find this appealing, and I know it’s still really early. Maybe it’s just me, or maybe it’s a generational thing; but I think we’ve gotten used to expecting things to happen too fast, or have instant results?
Either way, a few followers and my first real paid client later, I’m calling this a small win. (shoutout to Diana for the referral) Getting paid for something I would normally do for free felt like a solid first step outside the usual circle.
Parenthood has been great -- Trully an amazing experience to have a child of your own; sometimes I just stare at her; in awe of this little human that’s now ours to care for.
Some days are tougher than others. I think the hardest part about the newborn stage is caring for someone who can’t really interact with you yet -- just sleeping, crying, and diaper changes on repeat.
Latetly, Lucia has been awake longer, her eyes follow us, and she recognizes our voices. She’s given us a few smirks -- maybe even a laugh or two -- and those little moments have made it so much easier to slow down and actually enjoy this stage. I’d like to end these posts with a quote -- take it however you want. For me, this one feels pretty fitting right now. So, for the first time… here’s the quote of the blog:
“Don’t expect change if you do nothing different.”

Blessings to the world ❤️ It's beautiful to witness your young parenthood!
Thanks for sharing a peek into your life with a new little one. You nailed it with the closing quote!
